2014

Sales were stifled by the lack of a financial projections tool. It took more than a year of programming and testing but I completed a robust spreadsheet to generate financial statements. After reading an article about discouraging post-service options for women veteran (and because a center requested it), I wrote the Military CEO edition.


2013

The Edge Connection in Atlanta requested books for each module in their 3-month course. It was the start of our new line of 52-page books. We grow with our clients! This slimmer format has become our most popular book as busy entrepreneurs want content that gets them to their goals faster.


2012

An encounter at a church bazaar led to a referral to a business development center in Boston. They have been our longest client using the official inaugural edition for the past six years. For months I courted a Los Angeles center who finally said yes! They went from offering it quarterly to three times a month. I was bi-coastal!


2011

Drove to first SBDC conference to hang out in lobby to learn more about the network. Talked to anyone who would catch my eye and asked a couple of them to give a video testimony based on book samples. Four of the people who gave an intruder a chance conversation are still my mentors today.


2010

I attended social media class and did not understand their twitter speak. Wrote the GUIDED Social Media Plan to simplify it for myself and others resistant to the digital marketing trend. The book in this format sold ONE copy. But it led to a relationship with one of my largest clients. And I repurposed the content in other books.
